About the Austin Ukulele Music Library

The Octopus’s Garden

The Octopus’s Garden is a ukulele club based in Austin, Texas. The club was founded in 2008 by a group of music-loving friends who wanted to share their passion for the ukulele and its unique sound.

Since then, the club has grown steadily in popularity, attracting members from all over the world. The club meets regularly to play music, share tips and tricks, and enjoy each other’s company.

The San Jose Ukulele Club

The San Jose Ukulele Club is a group of ukulele enthusiasts who meet regularly to play and learn new songs. The club was founded in 2009 by a group of friends who wanted to share their love of the ukulele and its music.

Since then, the club has grown steadily in membership and now meets every Wednesday evening at 7pm at the Music in the Park concert series in downtown San Jose. The club is open to all levels of players, from beginners to experts, and everyone is welcome to come and jam.

The club has a wide repertoire of songs, ranging from traditional Hawaiian tunes to modern pop hits, and they are always adding new songs to keep things fresh. In addition to playing for fun, the club also performs at various events around the Bay Area, such as community festivals, senior centers, and schools.

The Austin Bazaar Ukulele

The Austin Bazaar Ukulele is a group of ukulele enthusiasts who meetup to play and learn together. The club is open to all levels, from beginners to experienced players. The meetings are held every other Wednesday at 7pm in the back room at Opal Divine’s Penn Field.

The San Jose Ukulele Club:

The San Jose Ukulele Club meets every Wednesday at 7:30 pm at the Willow Glen Library in San Jose, California. The club is open to all levels of players, from beginners to experienced players. The meetings are informal and relaxed, and everyone is welcome!

The Austin Ukulele Society Can’t Help Falling in Love

We are the Austin Ukulele Society and we can’t help falling in love with this amazing instrument! The ukulele is such a fun and versatile instrument, perfect for any occasion. Whether you’re jamming with friends or playing solo, the ukulele is always a great choice.

We’ve been hosting monthly ukulele meetups in Austin for over five years now, and we’ve seen the ukulele community grow exponentially. There are now dozens of ukulele clubs and groups all over Austin, and hundreds of passionate players of all levels.

If you’re new to the ukulele scene, don’t worry – we were all beginners once too! Come to one of our meetups and you’ll be greeted with open arms (and maybe even a free hug). We’ll be happy to teach you some basic chords and strums, and before you know it you’ll be playing your favorite songs.
